IT pioneer's homegrown software outfit HCL Technologies is reportedly mulling a U.S. listing. In February it acquired Volvo's IT outsourcing arm for $130 million and simultaneously signed a deal with the Swedish automaker to provide software services. In April HCL agreed to acquire Mumbai software firm Geometric, controlled by the Godrej family, in a share swap valued at $190 million. His eponymous Nadar University is partnering with Dell for technology projects in areas such as cloud computing and big data.
