Shares of consumer-goods outfit Marico, which he chairs, got a lift when it reported a 26% rise in net earnings to $109 million in the year ended March. The company, which sells in 25 countries and aspires to be an Indian multinational, cut the price of its popular Parachute coconut hair oil, a category in which it competes with Anand Burman's (No.15) Dabur.
