Bugatti Killer Until now the Bugatti Veyron was the undisputed King of Supercars, matching fighter-jet performance with a million dollar price tag. It had seemed we’d never see its like again in this age of austerity, but fortunately Horacio Pagani didn’t get the memo that the world was skint and 322+ kph cars are unusable on modern roads. Hence he is unleashing the Huayra (“Whyara”). It will cost over 1 million pounds and combines Swiss watch engineering, pioneering new material and jaw-dropping styling. Under its hood is a monstrous powerplant developed by Mercedes’ AMG division, pushing it to over 375 kph. Outside, there is an ultra hi-tech chassis constructed from a carbon-titanium hybrid metal, sitting on top of forged aluminium alloy suspension components. Bugatti should be worried.

The New Sport Tourer on the Block
This American motorcycle has little to no chrome on it, its rake is within reason and it isn’t a chopper. Is the sporty American motorcycle finally here? Meet the Motus MST (Motus Sport Tourer). The engine is half of an LS7R Corvette engine, a V4 that they shrank to 1,650cc. You get a tourquey, great sounding engine with more than 160 PS power that gives maximum output at 8,000 rpm and produces 165Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. Motus added direct injection and the chassis is a Ducati-style trellis frame. Suspension is adjustable and if you’d like hi-performance Brembo/Ohlins goodness, you’d want the all carbon S model.

Get-a-fix
Some of us just love to work under pressure and the Kvantum Cremiere KV-108A is no different. It generates up to 12 bars of pressure to extract flavour from coffee to brew a mean cup ’o Joe. It includes a built-in hot water reservoir, available at the touch of a button and a steam spout for creating the frothed milk cappuccinos. Added to this are programmable presets for that perfect brew day after day.
