No Relief for middle class Indian

Fuel — for the body, spirit and automobile — is taking its toll on the middle class Indian. The prices of milk, a bottle of mild beer and petrol have increased in three major cities.
None has felt the brunt more than Mumbai. Milk prices have increased by over 10 percent while beer has gone through the roof by almost 50 percent, thanks to the Maharashtra government’s decision to increase taxes.
People everywhere are paying more for petrol and it doesn’t look like consumers are going to get any relief soon.
