The slowdown has had an impact on the average age of new students at B-Schools
Whiling away time at the canteen, last-minute assignment panic, bunking lectures, getting the number of that cute girl… aah, college days. Looks like some executives are missing that life.

We figured that with all the pay cuts and downsizing, young, ambitious professionals would find this a good time to improve their qualifications a bit.

We called up MBA community portal CoolAvenues.com , and they confirmed our hypothesis. This year, there has been a surge in the admissions of older candidates: at least 8 percent and going up to 15 percent in the top 15 business schools in India. The professors will hear more ‘good mornings’ than ‘wassups’ this year, we think.
