Famous for playing characters such as Nazma Aapi and Adarsh Bahu, she takes inspiration from people around her. Hailing from a small town in Uttar Pradesh, she brings nostalgia of families from such places in her comedy sketches. Gaur has forayed into acting too, and is one of the protagonists in Campus Diaries, a series on MX Player. She also has her own show—Uncommon Sense With Saloni—on Sony Liv.
