Break a burglar-proof glass: You should try this. A company called Duratuf Glass Industries has set up this glass. You get a hammer and this burglar -proof glass. Hidden in the glass is a Rs. 500 note. The challenge is simple. Break the glass and the Rs. 500 is yours. There is no limit on the number of attempts. So hammer away! Every time I got frustrated at the Expo, I went to Duratuf’s stall. They willingly obliged each time. No, I didn’t get the Rs. 500.

Watch an automatic car wash: How many times in your life have you had the pleasure of seeing a car getting washed by a machine? No, Hollywood movies don’t count. No buckets and rags either. A company called Inventa Cleantech had set up this display. They were washing a Chevrolet Cruze. I guess a wash was scheduled every half an hour. It is a very relaxing activity, especially in the Delhi cold with water from the machine jets spraying all around.

Make a trip to the Automotive Research Institute of India’s stall: Ask the guys at the stall to explain their SIZE INDIA study. Now, this is a study that took about one-and-a-half years for the ARAI to complete. The idea was that when car makers design a vehicle, they should know the size of an Indian male and female. Previously these guys used to use European, Japanese and American profiles. Anyway, so the interesting part is that the Size India profile study required that participants take part only in their undergarments. Ahem! The ARAI guys can help you understand the whole study in a lot of detail. Also, the study is on sale now.

Eat ‘Litti Chokha’ at Gate 5: If you don’t know what this means, refer to Mr. Singh’s stall display: Bihar ‘ka mashoor Litti Chokha’. It is really delicious. It helps that the guy serving the dish knows the trick well. First is the chokha and then he picks from a big can; two littis swimming in ghee. It is awesome. Also, Mr. Singh has a visiting card, in case you want to refer him to some social party and stuff. I just did.
