With a collection called 'Blackout/Whitewash' that echoed minimalism, BOBO CALCUTTA by Ayushman Mitra created a fashion fantasy at The Studio during Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2019 inspired by the designer's paintings. Trademark prints were juxtaposed with intricate beaded and sequined embroidery. Inspired by Ayushman’s paintings that depicted scenes of contemporary revolutions, each silhouette was unconventional, just like the painting that hung above as their inspiration.
